Pardon me, what is a rudraksha bead? What is special significance? Why is an ordinary plastic bead not sufficient whatever the purpose?

Its a bead that has many magical properties. All R2I minded Indians must get the one-eyed Rudraksha because it lets them live in USA and India at the same time (by creating a metaphysical space and time continuum) - thereby negating the need for R2I, the never-ending "how much is enough", chronic constipation and ulcers caused by worrying incessantly about kids' values, and the reason for existence of this forum ;-)
