Though at first I was little frustrated about their policy reg bystanders (esp during our vacation time), soon realized, it?s for the best well being of the patient (just like we do here, not passing germs etc).
Bottom line, they make sure the patient can get the best care available in India.
thx

r2k;260676Thanks for the explaining your take on the subject, Sumachechi - your views and opinions are highly appreciated. I agree that bigger hospitals may not be a good options for a kid with high fever, I was more interested in knowing options @ late hours not for normal doctor's visit. I think going to private practice doctor's offices are more common among Kerala (may be true for India as well). Our family doctor is a student of my mother and after 20 plus years we still go there for regular check up. I agree that location matters, and to keep an eye on the odd hour service hospital near the area of stay for handling emergency situations.
When I took my parents for full check up in Amruta, regardless of how they treated my brother and me, I was impressed by how they handled my parents. Thanks for providing more supporting words about how this hospital can be used.
