Does such a website have any potential? I've been slowly teaching myself Django and have the time and inclination now to experiment with some pointless and worthless site...
I was planning on scraping one of the matrimonial site's caste list and also scraping common last names of people (searched by caste) on there and putting them together. Maybe they'll pay for the service themselves? You know like how they have these little links that say "buy this on amazon" or "find on ebay", the matrimonial and job search sites could link each profile to my caste search engine "look up caste". For example if one were to enter their last name as "Jadhav" it would correctly deem them to be a dirty low caste and list all the pros and cons of the tribe. The motive is to denounce and make fun of all castes with equal disdain really. No prejudice here. But I need to get someone to do the writing. The results page would be not dissimilar to wolframalpha.com. There is also existing high quality official documentation about low castes: http://socialjustice.nic.in/sclist.php
Anyone interested in this project? I had brainstormed this with a friend several months ago really but he backed out of it to protect his own dignity...

Just might work... :) People are paying to get a scheduled call from strangers that tells them or someone else that they are awesome. They might pay or like to read complemintary disdainful or complimentary details about their caste...
