Data copy from Laptop hard Drive via USB connectors/ enclosures

My Hard Drive has this Interface

Friend of mine has a cable that fits in the SATA Interface. Does this mean I still need a connector from "SATA Power Connector" slot in the picture to the wall power outlet. He says he got some other additional cablesthat came with it at home. Hopefully he has everything and I can get it working. He never used that so far, came from company along with laptop.

Finally got the job done. You need the SATA cable, power supply for Hard Drive which consist of reglar power supply thing with adopter to HD power pin.

Now I am trying to access another one of my old ATA type Hard Drive.
