If you are trying to improve the english speaking then I dont think ONLINE download will help much . Many community college have courses on Engilish speaking, writing and american ascent and they are very cheap . I would suggest try one of these colleges near to your home . There are some CD/Cassette to improve the English skill but they are not free.

Not sure if they have community colleges in Auckland, NZ...It's great if they do and if it's less expensive like here in America.
Anyway, thought I'd highlight and remind members that OP might not be in the United States.

Polytechnics in New Zealand and TAFE institutes in Australia are the equivalent of the community colleges in the US. There might also be free ESL programs through the local community library.. Check them out!..
IMHO, it is good to do a few courses to feel comfortable (with the language and also comminicating with the locals) and join the workforce. Before you know the speaking skills improve.

OP, I'm sure it will be well worth even if you pay for a few classes for your wife to improve her linguistic skills . . afterall, some of the best things in life are not always FREE!! The good feeling that your wife will experience while communicating freely with others, is one of them.

OP, there are some torrent sites or p2p s/w where you can download these english courses (Audio) for FREE. Some p2p apps are bearshare (bearshare.com) and limewire (limewire.com). Download these softwares and search for 'English language courses' etc. I am not sure if ISP in NZ allow these p2p or torrents.
Some of the courses names are : English Guru (origin-India), Studio-Lets talk in english (origin - korea), but they teach in english, and Oxford.
You can also try rapidshare.com or megashare.com. If you are in IT or computer/internet savvy, you will find it with some efforts.

In order to be able to 'think' in English, it would be good if she reads English newspapers, magazines, fiction, and topics that are of interest to her.
She could volunteer to read stories in English to little kids of your friends.
Listen to the news in English everyday - both on TV and radio.
If there is Toastmaster's club in your city, she could enroll in that after she is comfortable speaking in english.
Later join a part time job where there are no Indians, just so that she would have to speak in English in a natural environment.

One website which is popular among the elementary teachers in US is www.starfall.com. Good for kids or for those learning to read English from scratch.
