Given the current shenanigans of politicians, I fear that India might not look like we know it today. While BJP is accused of religious intolerance, Cong and some other parties are intolerant when powerless. Looking at how they are getting desperate to snatch power I feel they will not hesitate to stoop to the level of dividing India to get back to power.

1)We have already seen the trailer in Guj where they propped up ostensible leaders and divided Hindus
2)They are playing the Lingayat card in Karnataka
3)They have not hesitated to create fissures in the SC too

Basically they will do anything to stop their common enemy Modi and wrap their actions as democracy and secularism saviours when they have never upheld those virtues.

Thoughts?

BJP haters will rather see a divided India!

Do you really think India will remain a country if Modi continues this way to divide India? In the minds of BJP rss, there is no diversity in India and all should bow to one hindi hindutva India. This is a recipe for balkinisiation and what Pakistan, China cannot achieve , Modiji will accomplish if BJP continues this path.

All opposition parties play games. BO was discredited and insulted by GOP every opportunity they found including asking a foreign leader to give a speech in the US congress and insulting a sitting president.

I don't like it but I think it is a given for such activities in politics. However when they involve in activities that harm the citizens like what happened in Maharashtra recently then that is abhorable.

Why do you feel the future of unified India is in jeopardy? Dividing the nation based on religion, caste or some other reason has been going on for ages.
