HELP !! Needed for a child
Here?s a situation in which I needed genuine suggestions or help if possible?
When we were in Hyderabad, we were supporting a child?s ? Krishna (name changed) ? education from an orphanage (Gachibowli). He is an extremely bright and mannered child and wants to make his career in space & Aeronautics technology. We have worked with him for 3 years when we were in Hyderabad and have seen passion and hard work to achieve it. He got 93% in 10th board exams. Due to some personal reasons we R2Aed (please don?t ask why and discuss so that we will deviate from the real problem) and we are not physically present to solve the issue. After 10th grade Krishna had to go out of the orphanage as they allow till 10th grade only. I talked to the trustee?s president to keep him until 12th grade but they are not agreeing. One of his relative (maternal aunt) gave him shelter and he started living with them in Secundrabad. For some reason we never heard about any of his relatives before except his maternal grandmother. From his paternal side, nobody is there to support him (as far as we know). Now he has told us that they admitted him in a rather expensive school by paying first month fees. We got a call from Krishna that it is very difficult for him to stay there as they treat him very badly-torture, beating, doing all household chores and no time for his studies. And, at the same time they have refused to pay his future monthly fees. We suspect there may be a property issue, because Krishna told us that he accidently got to read some papers in his grand mom?s (in village) house and came to know his mom left some land on her son?s name. (don?t know more details). Now Krishna is saying it is very difficult to live there and study at the same time in that kind of environment.
What we have suggested:
OPTION 1:
Just spend 2 more years in the same house. After 12th, he can get admission in any college and he can get out from there. We are ourselves are not convinced for this as his grades are falling with so much of suffering. We are ready to support his school fees.
OPTION 2:
He can choose another college with hostel facility and stay there. In this case he will lose money which has already been paid to the school. Since there are not very many options for his choice of career, he may have to change his stream, which we think is ok because it has only been one month since the schools have begun. But it?s a loss of money.
We are from Delhi area and we don?t have any relatives/friends so that we can arrange separate lodging for him. He is only 15 years old and it may not be possible to stay alone in rented room. There is no other option for Krishna to stay at his maternal grand-mother?s (who is dependent on her son in village) or any other relative of his.
We are worried about his health and studies. Feeling frustrated at the situation? We fail to understand why someone would ill-treat their own relative?s helpless child.
Now my question to all R2iers forum members is;
Does anyone have any connections or influence in any engineering prep colleges like Narayana, Chaityana etc. to get him admission (with hostel) at a discounted rate, ( we understand all the admission process is complete at this time of the year.) it will be a great help.
Any other suggestions are welcome?

HELP & sUGGESTIONS !! Needed for a child in Hyderabad
I can find out if there are any government programs to support such students. It would be helpful if you can provide details such as his location, contact details and unfortunately caste (OBC/SC/ST students get better benefits from my experience irrespective of financial situation). You can PM me the details. Meanwhile, I will see what I can find out from my sources. Wish you all the best!
