Hello All,

One of my friend (I know him from Engineering college in Mumbai) is willing to sell his plot (approx. 2100 sq ft) with an existing 2 story structure on it and asked me to make an offer. I am planning to return to India in a few years and looking to settle either in Pune or NCR - since I was born and brought up in Mumbai, I may settle in Pune.

The plot is NEAR/Next to Mayur colony and in a VERY QUIET neighborhood (I know, since I lived there with him many times while visiting Pune).

What are the pros & cons of buying such a plot which is NOT vacant and in a society which has NO modern amenities? The structure is at least 15 years old.
