Ibsn holding our tax check

Dear Experts,

We came to India in sep 2010 after serving in US till that time. In march, my husband filed taxes with IBSN after paying a hefty fee. We also paid for mailing the check to our indian address as we have closed all bank accounts in US. We are getting mails from IRS that our check has been sent . We even got mail from the US IBSN, that it has been sent to indian local office. But here the problem starts. IBSN in hyderabad has not sent the check to our address. What could be the problem? How can we collect the check? What if they lost the check, what to do? Can we complain to IRS, that check is lost? Is there a possibility they can cash the check? Please help as it is worth lakhs of rupees.
