MT: Colleges, Universities in Bangalore
Could you suggest some good colleges for computer engineering in Bangalore? We are R2Ing this May and are looking for the right fit for our son. The type of college I have in mind will have a modern campus look and feel, a good ambiance, and good infrastructure with academic rigor/reputation but will not go overboard on academic toughness and grades as some colleges tend to. So far, I have identified three: BMS College of Engineering, PESIT, and R.V. Although R.V, supposedly has the best academic reputation in Bangalore, the campus seems old-style. PESIT is more modern-looking but seems to overemphasize academics. BMS seems more balanced. Any thoughts or comments? Thanks.

My son is an US citizen. We have taken PIO card for him. His schooling was all done in India.
We are also looking for some good Engineering colleges in Bangalore for him.
My question is do they consider him as NRI and charge him according to NRI fees ? What is the current engineering fees now in Bangalore?
R there any other options available?
