Hey NBA fans .. This is the place for your "Post-Up" game. If you like Fingure Roll or 360 dunk or Tear Drop .. this is the place for you. If you are like to "Shoot from Downtown in arc" who knows shooting straight will cause ramming on the rim without any entry angle ... In that case you better be good at Offensive Rebound .. If not that than quick Steal .. If not that than 24 second strong defense ... than this is the place.

Well if you don't know that much but still like to have fun & learn regarding NBA simply put .. This is the place for your "Post-Up" :D

Anything will go here as far as NBA is concerned. We can post
1) Any Specific Game ( between rivalry teams )
2) Any specific Player performance in the game
3) Any trades rumor / team composition / alternate starting line
4) Come Playoff time
5) Anything you find interesting

The idea is to have fun, learn something. Trash talking is allowed but going personal is big NO-NO ;)

P.S. - One will be surprised to know that knowing / talking about professional sports is "ice-breaker" in client-dealings to make more personal rapport with Clients at least in US. You are not supposed to ask directly in the first meeting "Are you married" but sure you can ask which NBA team you support and who is your favorite player :) Beleive me they like to talk about it just like Indians like to talk abt Cricket

I dont know about you but the NBA Board is pretty much a HYPOCRITCAL organization probably no better than BCCI. ( as are some of their players)

thats my exact reasoning, the player was selected for all-star, he is a rookie (and made a rookie mistake). He is stating the obvious .

I liked the recent NBA ad involving Dwyane Wade and Charles Barkley. It was funny.

I wasn't up that late to watch LAL-CAV game; but I watched Dallas-Houston one. It was a nail biting finish with Dallas winning by 80-77 in the final few seconds. McGrady and Rockets played well, but this season when it comes to finishing the game, Dirk and Mavs are getting better and better. Mavs had a small lead at the beginning of the game, but they were trailing all the way until like 4 mins before the end of 4th quarter; Still they were able to make it; Dirk is truly an MVP with consistent performance.
Can't wait to watch the Sunday All star games in Vegas.

So now good old scottie pippen wants to stage a comeback.In my opinion Wizards and heat are a good fit at this stage.He can run the offense for 10-15 minutes by just setting the plays and passing the ball to his team mates.

Dallas and suns will most likely battle it out the in the western conf.
Heat,wizards,pistons, cavaliers may battle it out in the eastern conf.

SixthSense;7607He cld be good fir for Lakers too as Lakers need experienced point gurad and Scoti can help ( allthough he is not a pointguard and play as small forward as natural position but his veteran experience can help as in leadership ).

I thought lakers were going after jason Kidd and nets are ready to part Vince carter and not kidd.So we will know about it this thursday.

Leo's comments holds good for the "departed" NBA season(2005-2006). This is a new year. A new dawn . Last year it was the "heat". This year's supplier of the heat will be the largest natural source of heat "The Suns"..Phoenix suns..Hope leo will use my lines in his next movie.:emsmile:

Knicks are playing slightly better than last year under Isaiah Thomas. Nets are now out of Jason Kidd trade rumors.

Still West Coast teams are very strong as it was clear in the all-star game.

I realize that it's utter waste of time to watch All Star games. The guys just go from end to end to shoot baskets; literally no defense. No wonder Kobe can score so many points. I would rather watch a New Orleans-Memphis match.

I fully agree with you. This all star game is just a show boat for NBA.Nothing more than that.

Waiting to see how Miami is going to play without wade.They can avail the services of Scottie pippen for some time. I am not sure what is going on.

The west is the best. Suns/Mavs/Spurs/Jazz et all makes it interesting to watch NBA.But being in the east coast i cannot watch all those nice west coast team games. Duh..... That is why we will R2I next month and watch all the games in the mornings:emsmile: .Definetly will be an odd man out there when the whole india will we watching cricket matches..
