As of now it's been reported that Christian fundamentalist Terrorist bombed Norway and murdered 91 innocent men, women and children.

Official sources and social media indicate that the terrorist "Breivik" is a right-wing Christian fundamentalist who may have had an issue with Norway's multi-cultural society. (source: CNN)

Now, what is the color/faith of this terrorism??? Does Christianity preach Terrorism??? Do Christians involve in act of terrorism??

As we know the race and religion of this terrorist who committed this horrific terrorist act, media and people will very conveniently omit the race/religion of this terrorist and just call him right or left wing nuts. Some media may call him insane or just mentally disabled person. What do you say???

When I first saw the news, I thought that this is atheism terrorism as norwegians had discarded muslim terrorism and for some reason I thought that it was not Hindu terrorism.

Later I heard of his being a christian fundamentalist. So this is Christian terrorism.

Have you heard of the crusaders. That was ofcourse a while back. Missionaries of course rode on the back of economic terrorism.

I just heard on TV that same man (suspect) involved in both horrifying incidents. These were roughly 2 hours apart.

Okemos, we do not know all the details, motives etc yet.

Assuming that this person is a Christian, you are wondering if his religion and race would be "conviniently" ignored! What do you think- should his religion be implicated? How many bombings do you see around the world driven by Christianity religion?

What is your point? That media around the world is pro Christian and anti Muslim? Is that your point or something else?

Well the world has seen islamic terrorist, hindu terrorist and now christian terrorist.

I am sure that there also must be some terrorists who are atheists.

I am not so sure that the claim that all religions breed terrorists is necessarily correct, just that people engage in terrorism based on their fanaticism and interpretation and lack of tolerance. There is no question that statistics show that quite a number of terrorists do subscribe to Islam religion. There are sections in Islam religion that suggest intolerance. In the end, I would indict the terrorist rather than indict his supposed inspiration.

I deem the evangelism streak in the christianity combined with inflexibility in koran has led to this kind of extremism which leads me to blame the religion equally as much as the followers if not more.
In case of Hinduism its more of reactionary and the judaism texts have also lent inflexibility and sense of ownership of land which has led to its brand of terrorism. Even budhists monks have in lanka have held extreme anti humanitarian positions and we all know about sikh terrorists.
Just like I dont buy the NRA version of argument that people not guns are responsible for gun violence ignoring the abundance and free availability of guns, religion too has its share of blame to shoulder along with its twisted practitioners.
