OCI Card holders (Husband and Wife) want to buy property jointly

Post by kkassociate »

Dear Sir,

a) You can register the land in both spouses name, the only restriction you should aware of it that you cannot purchase an agricultural land per FEMA rules.

b) You can execute a joint POA , but it is advisable to execute individual POA incase if the for any reason the Registration officer comes up with any qualification.

We provide both US and India tax filing and advisory services. You can send us more details on [email protected] or visit us at www.kkassociate.com
