Just heard that you have to have OCI (for US Citizens) to claim transfer of residence and a Visa will not work to claim transfer benefits. Did anyone picked the shipment in India without OCI?
I have a very tight timeline and thought I could go with Indian Visa, I have to rush for Expedited Renunciation and OCI now.
