Question related to move to Pune

I will be moving to Pune in Feb. We agreed that i work for one year in Pune and then go back to US. I will have few days of temp accommodation and transportation then I need to find a permanent housing and a car
I would appreciate anyone with similar experience would share their experience.
1) Any Expat communities/Decent housing complex near Deccan Gymkhana club for housing (My understanding is that most of the expats live in Koregaon Park etc but it will be too far for me knowing the traffic in Pune). Iam interested in furnished housing as my company will pay for this. Iam looking for a gated community with 24 hr security with at least decent size lawn for an evening walk. Iam hoping that 24 hr power back up, air-conditioning is basic these days and most of the housings would have them.
2) Decent restaurants in this area catering to families.
3) I was told that they will ship up to 1000 lbs by air. Not sure what should I bring in this 1000 lbs. Any suggestions would be helpful. (We have a 4 month old moving with us. Iam sure I will take her items like crib)
4) Any ideas on how to terminate my Verizon contract without paying early termination charge. I will have 5 months remaining when I leave.
5) Any suggestions on how to get hold of maid, driver.
