If you are inclined towards India, I would highly recommend IIIT Hyderabad apart from BITS Pilani Goa/Hyderabad. It has an excellent B.tech Computer Science program. The admission for international applicants is through DASA (SAT..) I believe. The admissions usually start around this time.

Yes, it is a good problem to have but the confusion is causing a lot of stress. I am sure he will be fine with either one. You mind sharing which IIT and branch your son got in? We did not pursue with BITS as he did not get in Pilani, CS in the 1st round ( 350 marks).

Srinpo, Could you please elaborate more on IIIT Hyd CS. Why not IIT Bhubaneswar, We are worried about losing the IIT brand. It looks like IIIT Hyd CS got some good packages to offer though. BTW, what is your personal bias? uww, this is so diffcult than i thought it was. getting in is onething...
