Does OCI for Kids require renewal ?
My son was 6 yrs old when he got his OCI. (He is a USC) We are living in India (R2I-ed 1.5 yrs ago) My question is, as my son grows, his photo on the OCI is still going to be a picture when he was a kid. Does the OCI need any updation. I know the OCI does not expire. Its a lifelong visa. But how ...

RBS, Chennai
These guys never respond back. Not only RBS, almost all the companies in India does not seem to respond to resumes you upload to their career portals. Only way it works is through referrals. You need to place the resume on the HR person's desk thru a contact that you have inside the company. I am ...

Challenges in Job hunt in India
I am in the process of R2I and leaving in a couple of months. I started my job hunt in India. I have about 15+ years of experience and little bit out of touch with the Indian job market. OCI and Surrender Certificate
I got OCI in Feb and travelled to India and back in April. No one asked to see my indian passport.
Everywhere I only had to show my US PP and OCI card.
But what I dont understand is, they would have put the "Cancelled" stamp on your indian PP while issuing the OCI. Why is it not so in your case.

Shipping v. buying diapers & infant milk formula in India (Mumbai specifically)
Diapers are really of worst quality in India. What is surprising is that the brand is still Huggies, Pampers etc. same as here but the quality is way too low. If you are shipping things to India then get sufficient quantity of diaper boxes from costco. It is worth it. Not much experience with the ...

20 feet container size- what does it fit?
Everything in a 2 or 3 bedroom apt will fit comfortably. I had 110 pieces loaded which included 3 3-seater leather sofas, 2 queen mattresses, 1 twin mattresses, patio furniture, dining table and 6 chairs, 2 tvs and all our household items and still had about 20 percent of the container empty. Hope ...
