My son "may be" Autisitic. What to do?
[QUOTE=gulfIndian;381882]We had a family friend while we were in the UAE some 15 years ago. His son was not speaking a word till he was around 3 years. He used to move around aimlessly and not able to hold his attention to anything even for a minute. He was diagnosed with Autism and after confirming ...

This thread reminded me of that DDLJ dialogue by Amrish Puri when Kajol asks him for permission to see Europe.

Brother is saying don't come
Looks like I am in a minority here. I have an unbelievable pressure from my relatives to R2I. Every time I talk to ANY of my family members or Close relatives, the first thing they ask is "When are you coming back"? I keep saying "a few days more"... Of late, I truly dread calling India. None of you ...

Do you see dead people?
Interesting thread... I had a first-hand experience in my childhood. My first and last ( I hope) I was 8 years, 3 months old. My dad was away from home on a camp. I woke up one night at around mid-night and could not sleep throughout the night. That was a summer night. But, a cold chill kept me ...

RV Experiences and Tips
[QUOTE=mkngtrbl;323154]From my experience, it is not the best way to travel with parents unless you have done it before. I went on a trip with friends to Yellowstone in a RV and the following incidents happened: [COLOR="red"]1. We left some items on the RV kitchen counter and they were all right by ...

Do you believe in "evil eye or kan drishti"?
I still cannot understand why people believe in evil eyes.
My close family friend use to be very open with us. But, she did not tell us that she was pregnant till she was 4 months.
She was a very well educated, smart lady. Why on earth would she do that?

Dear r2iers, I am in US since 2003 and all my US life is spent in different cities in the East coast. Now, for various reasons I am moving back to India in August 2011. That is fixed. My dream was to live in California sometime in my life. But, never got a chance. Of late, I was thinking of finding ...
