I completely agree with rigmarole. DVDO will get you the quality that's probably unbeatable. The biggest benefit I see with DVDO is that in future if you end up buying a PAL television, DVDO is still usable. Lot of other converters are solely PAL TO NTSC, which means it will only convert the signal ...

Yes. It is a separate equipment. It's supposed to scale everything upto 1080p - no matter what you throw at it.
