So after thinking and planning for many years, I did R2I in May of 2016, and have completed one year.

How quick the time flies.

So far no regrets. Life is different here, but more fun in many ways !.

Now, only if I could find time to write a blog about my journey.

True. Historically, market falls up to 10% once per 11 months. and up to 20% once every few (~3-4) years.

So, if it goes down by > ~20%, you will have to buy SPY. But instead of buying SPY shares, you can buy SPY calls, thus freeing up your margin/cash to buy other great bargains at that time.
