Temp to perm position ..education challenges
OP, please say something like: A) "How could I have ever mentioned photoshopping a degree? What was I thinking? I'm sorry..." B) "I was just kidding about photo-shopping a degree. Did y'all really think I was serious??". C) Some other explanation. Then we can move on. Until then, some people will ...
Hey RetPune - thats really elaborate and informative. Can you share your house interior pics along the process/ costs/ shops. Since my husband is not going to be with us initially I am dreading at the thought of getting all this done by myself. Since we already have bought a ...

2016 Audi Q5 or 2017 Bmw X3
I vote for the Audi. BMWs have been slipping of late and Audis getting better.
Audi interiors are tasteful. BMWs not as nice.
Dynamics of both are excellent.
Then, consider image. BMW drivers are jerks. Audi drivers enlightened :)
Heard recently that fees in Hyderabad Public School (HPS Begumpet) is 1 lakh per year. No clue as to the current standard or anything else. Seems like a lot of business families are sending their kids there.
Interesting. When I attended HPS the annual fees were 880 ...
It it up to each individual to make up his/her mind. We have no restrictions for him, but he prefers being a vegetarian. My take on this...in my case.....why should I change my culture? If I like being a vegetarian, I should be able to do so.:) He is extremely sensitive to ...

Regarding the graph posted earlier with an invitation to comment: 1. The first point to note is that the Y axis is not 0-based. The life expectancy of the US appears to be half that of Switzerland, until one notes that the difference between ~81 and ~85 is <4%. An excellent book titled "How to Lie ...

I have to admit I was shocked by the reference to photoshopping a degree. It wasn't made in jest. Remarks like that have a way of coming back to bite you. A testing position requires integrity and resistance to external pressure (in addition to technical competence). Would I hire someone who thinks ...

It is common in India to push children early into school, and keep them at the "leading edge". It was done to me and my siblings too. We survived. However, now that I've growed up, I realize that in fact, the opposite would have been better. Put your children in school as late as possible ...
