Glad you are getting settled. Would you mind sharing, how you got admission for your 6th grader. Also, did your 6th grader have language issues in the school. What Board education you all have chosen?

I believe you are talking about APL global. Is that right? How did you get the admission there. Did you have to make a personal visit? Or, anything like Skype interview? Did they demand any donation apart from the fees? Are there lot of NRI kids?

Thank you all. Though i did not understand Old Spice's comment ' YES bank-not sure which bank is being referred here'. Collectively i can understood that,money has to be distributed between Public & Private sector banks. Again, thank you all.

Which bank is safe in India to transfer money? I am asking in terms of depositing nearly 50 lakhs- 1 crore. Is anybody transferring such huge amount or keeping it in US Dollars and transferring in small amounts.

I want to open a NRE/NRO account in SBI, IDBI and in Indian Overseas Bank through online. Can you please share your experience in opening NRE/NRO accounts through online.
I already have NRE/NRO in ICICI & Axis bank. But, i opened them in-person in Chennai.
