Greetings folks, I am a U.S. citizen, holding OCI card, and have very recently relocated back to India (yay! still in honeymoon phase). I tried to open a demat account with HSBC as well as SBI, but as soon as I say that I am US citizen, they just say they can't open demat account. Various web forums ...
