Hello - I'm a USC and returned to India with an entry visa. Now - I'm told that to get my OCI card i have to obtain a renunciation certificate from the REgional Passport Office here in Bangalore. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Hi Nish - No, I did not submit transcripts while submitting my application. However, I did have them with me during the interview. I was not asked to show it however.

No - it's perfectly legal.
