This may just be my family. Both my father and I have lent money to members in the larger family and have always got it back. In almost all cases, there was no interest involved even when the money was returned over a period of a few years.

Not sure why others have not received any notices, but I have been receiving notice from them regularly over the past few weeks by email about the service going down. Alternatives were listed as well. I was in India while this was on , but was able to initiate the switchover due to this.
