Freezing credit while in India

Looks like the credit agencies have laws specific to individual states to request credit freezes. They ask for a current utility bill to show proof of residency. Has anyone tried to freeze their credit after returning to India? Any suggestions on how to go about doing it will be greatly appreciated.
