How do US NRIs invest in Indian stocks? Demat accounts?

I have an NRE account and PIS account with HDFC Bank and my demat account is with Angel Broking. The PIS account is a must for NRI's to report all stock ...

#30 Its highly unlikely a fresh MBA with prior IT experience will get you a SR Consultant position in a top tier MC firm. Most in my firm start as an Associate and are made to work extremely long hours for a year or two before moving to a Senior Associate/Engagement Manager role. And we were the ...

Motilal Oswal PMS: Bad case of customer service or example of bad business practices?
#1 Kindly note that PMS in India does not fall under any SEBI regulation and performance disclosure is not mandatory. If you feel you are not comfortable investing via Motilal Oswal , why don't u contact ICICI Prudential, Reliance Capital, ASK Raymond James, Franklin Templeton etc as all of them ...

Won't be surprised if Citibank reports your NRO interest income to the IRS and sends you a 1099INT at the end of the year.

VRG, kindly note that you are hit by TDS on NRO interest. So the 10% interest is actually 7% when you get it in your hand. I would not recommend converting funds from NRE to NRO just to get this high yield.
If one has NRE funds, I would recommend investing in either FMP's or balanced funds.

Fixed Maturity Plans (FMP)
