All,
My mother in India is interested in gifting some money (say about Rs. 50,000/-) to my kid (who is 10 yr old US citizen). My kid is not eligible for the PO scheme right?. Any advise on where the best place might be to invest this money.

I spent abt a yr in India 2/3 yrs. ago in managerial capacity for an MNC and typical work week for 50 to 60 hrs...Lot of time spent on 'personnel management'. Lot of 'knuckle heads' in the mgmt chain who do not know the basics when it comes to management....Meetings scheduled on the fly... Everyone ...

They already have a domain name and host..Not sure how much they are paying for this service....Someone already did some work for them but I may have to revamp the site etc..and maintain it going forward
