Moving to Bangalore by August It all happened so fast need advise
My daughter is in Greenwood High 4th grade (ICSE) and she is studying only French and this is the first yr of French, so she is starting from scratch. No catching up to do. From Grade 5, she will start Kannada - again from scratch. If you give an attested (notary/gazetted officer) copy of passport ...

Can you post some feedback on your interaction with the school staff and the current school infrastructure (facilities, cleanliness..)? The website has only stock photographs and no 'real' ones of the school
Thanks

MT: Schools in Bangalore
I recently came across an advertisement in Times of India for a new school in Electronics City that has been started by NRI/PIOs. For people working in Electronics City, it may be a good option to drop the kids close-by (i.e. if you get thru Hosur Road traffic in time of course:D ). The website is ...

UPS / Inverter / back power generator related
I tried using local made UPS at first and regretted it. It would break down frequently and the guy who made it would not show up to fix it etc. Then I bought a APC UPS thru a dealer in July 2006 and it has worked well. The service center person checks on it once every 3 months for 2 years and there ...

US branded SPRINKLER SYSTEM for use in India
I have used a TORO sprinkler in India and it works ok. The only problem is that garden/lawn space is usually smaller in India and the sprinklers have a wider throw of water. So, the walls or your neighbour's plants may also get watered :)
