I read somewhere that when you remove your funds from 401K or IRA, the TDS is about 20%, so you will get check for only 80%. Incase your tax bracket is less than 20%, then IRS would return the extra tax you paid. Who cuts the 10% penalty , is it at TDS which is included in the 20%. So lets say if ...

Thank you very much, I also calculated it as zero but was wondering could it be. Thats good news. So a limited investment in US could result in zero taxes.
