well venkat , i dont agree with u on on the india rental situation. U got to do ur homework to find a good tenant. I have 2 properties in india since last 4 years and both have been rented to IT profressionals throughout..just that the lease needs to be 11 month and not 12 month.

what about apartment complexes (2BR/3BR apartments) ? The prices of those appreciate nicely in a span of 2-3 years.

yes i do have 2 properties in India. People (desis) here are buying houses left and right in the US but i guess 90% of them want to stay here though. Anyways thanks for ur input
