Am planning to R2I in 2010. It is my understanding that GOI does not tax interest on zero coupon bonds till they mature and then there is indexing for inflation. What if I were to acquire zero coupon muni and corporate bonds prior to departure from the US and lets say have them all maturing in 2020 ...
