I am an NRI and I have various FDs with ICICI Bank. They collect almost 1/3rd as TDS. Is there a way to get a refund of this amount ? I don't have a PAN yet.

401k contribution this yr is $15,500. If I am plng to R2I in 2009, does it make sense to contribute the max to 401k ? I am not sure what the options are or how does an R2I-er withdraw 401k after R2I?

I came across a site called prosper.com in Forbes mag. It also featured in finance.yahoo.com couple of days ago. This is basically e-loan site. Wondering if anyone has experience in lending or borrowing money from this site ?
