MT: R2I Shipping questions
A 20ft container can hold quite a lot if you pack things properly. I had one bed, two dressers, some IKEA chairs which I dismantled before packing, 1 dining table with 6 chairs, sectional sofa, 1 digital piano, computer, and quite a lot of kitchen items ( though no other appliances ). I hired ...

That depends on what exactly you want to know regarding the flats. There are 4 buildings + clubhouse + mall + a school. The prices of the flats depend on which floor you book. They are supposed to be completing Tower 1 & 2 by the end of this year. Not sure if there are any vacancies in those at the ...

Good Apartment in Costa Mesa , CA
I stayed in Costa Mesa for almost 3 years at "The Lakes At South Coast -- 3400 Avenue of the Arts" -- was a very nice complex close to the South Coast Plaza -- as mentioned by the others, Costa Mesa is on the expensive side, and this complex is at the higher end-- but you get what you pay for in ...

Hi sigma -- great to hear from a fellow happy IB customer. I DO have an important update regarding their account setup from India -- which will be important for ALL non-USC who are r2i. I just got a clarification a few minutes ago from their helpdesk saying that once I return to India, I can keep ...

VoIP phone - Vonage, Sunrocket, Skype, majikjack
As far as I know, at the moment, it is still legal. However, the Indian govt is "thinking" of making it mandatory for all BPO call centers to use govt approved VOIP services which pay the relevant service tax. Based on the wording of the impending legislation, it's not clear whether this rule will ...

VoIP phone - Vonage, Sunrocket, Skype, majikjack
Aren't there any compatibility issues when taking a DSL modem from the US? For example, would the modem that I use with my AT&T service here work with any DSL provider in India? That would be great if so -- but does anyone have any experience?

FAQ on India - Online brokerage, trading, DMAT accounts
I am a brand new member of this forum and have been reading it for a long time. I think I can answer sigma_msn's question reliably. I have been using Interactive Brokers for the past 3 years and they have been very reliable and cost effective regarding commissions. I am planning to r2i in Jan 2007 ...
