Netbank shuts down

I was one of the customers. Fortunately, I did not have a lot of money in it. So I am hoping to close the account and be done with it. I have another problem, where some members may be able to help. This account was my gateway to transfer money to India using ICICI Money2India. Now, I do not have ...

My Simple /Silly US Tax question

I understand from this forum that you will need to file some form if the foreign asset is over $ 10K. Does this include only the bank accounts? What about any property (a house) or jewellary? Do they count towards this limit?

Please advice.

Visit to NYC

Thanks everyone for all your suggestions.

I may leave WTC out of our trip. I am thinking to do Liberty on one day, manhattan on one day and may be a zoo or safaari on one day. We are already on road now. So I will keep checking!

Immigration Lawyer Reference

2 of my friends used Rajiv Khanna, while I had to live with my company lawyer. From what I can tell, Rajiv does a good job at fair price. Besides, you get some off the record advice if you run in troubles with your employer.
