Hi Desi: Thanks for the advice. the Bernstein guy quoted 1.85% flat fee for the first 500K and 1.5% for above that. they don't invest in mutual funds or at least in mutual funds with no-loads. they seem to have a good track record for high single digit returns per year even in downturns.
