I am R2I-ing this year to Mysore. Can anyone let me know of any good schools in Mysore?

I have a compaq desktop.Will that work in India? Do I need to buy a voltage converter for that? I am already taking few other electronic items that need voltage conversion . If I take the desktop to India, I will be just increasing the number of voltage converters at home in India.

A question from a novice. Can a US Citizen buy stocks that are trading in BSE?

Just curious. While you are sending money to India, how do you ensure you are getting the best conversion rate? Do you refer to any websites.
