Just wanted to add my 2 cents.
Groceries 10,000 is way too less, in my opinion.
I would make an allowance of 15-20 K for groceries because it includes baniya, vegetables, milkman, etc....

Well, for shipping to be cost-effective, it makes more economical sense when the weight exceeds 500 kgs.
Since I didn't have so much, I have asked one of my friends to bring it in as excess luggage.

Thanks for your input. I contacted Sky2C and asked them if they were involved in shipping stuff from India. They gave me a name of an agency - ArkRoyale in Delhi.
