Grading your India Return
6. Would you like to R2A now? (Absolutely/Likely/No/Dunno/Never) ABSOLUTELY/LIKELY ! :emcry:
It may be also intersting to see "what used to be your satisfaction level in the US?". (A person whose sat level is 4 in India may not necessarily mean a bad thing if his/her ...

Moving to UK from US. Need advice.

I am exploring an opportunity with a company near Oxford (10 miles). It gives me an immediate opportunity to work on projects in India and Europe. There is also a chance of opening an India office in a few years. I have lived in the US for 15 yrs including edu. My wife works as a programmer and we ...

Cell phone and internet for 1 month in India

Thank you all for the helpful responses. I will let you know what I end up using. Wi-fi spots/hotels is not an option for me. My parents don't have a landline.

Moving, Packing & Shipping Companies for move within India

I guess we all have had experiences at some point or other of "professional" services of many businesses in India. Sadly, legal avenues in India are largely dysfunctional. I would suggest this- if you know anybody (even remotely such friend's/relative's/coworker's acquaintance) in influential ...

Cell phone and internet for 1 month in India

Is there any way to get a temporary cell phone and service to use for a month while in India (Pune)? What are the options?

Can I also get a good internet connection for a month? What are the options here.
Thanks.

Dilemma - "Retired" in India

well, submarine, not many people in the same boat (or should I say submarine ! :-) I know a GM of a multinational in Mumbai who joined a private MBA institute as a director (got tired of politics). He had made enough money, he just wanted to stay busy and productive. Just today in a local indian ...

Dilemma : R2I flavor

OP: 3 months is a great opportunity to visit India. Immerse yourself in all aspects as much as you can. But as far as this being useful to help you in dilemma? I doubt. After all your stay, conflicting opinions, experiences, the ball will still be in your court. Inspite of all that you think, hear ...

Mobility and housing in India

well, 200 views and only 3 comments! That says something. Apparently it seems to be a non-issue for the most people. Here is what I infered (coolMBA made some points): - we in a way "retire" to a home when we r2i. Its not a "house" to us, its a "home" - opportunities are concentrated in certain ...
