I think Multi-system TVs from desi electronic stores will work in US and also India without any problems.

I am not sure. I checked Sony Bravia 32" on circuit city website and bombayelectronics.com website and the prices are not that different.

If anyone is buying new TV, it might be better to buy a multi-system TVs from desi stores. Then there will be no hassles. The prices are not that different either. I am planning to buy a couple of them while R2I in a couple of months.
