R2I dilemma
We are not able to decide if we want to R2I or stay here in the US for the rest of our life. We love staying here in the US, but our single most concern is that our kids will grow up very differently(less attachment to parents, too independent and stubborn, less emotional , may marry an american etc ...

Hi,
I am plan to R2I in next 4-5 years. Is it a good idea to invest in IRA and Roth IRA. I know that it is good to invest in 401k upto the employer match point, but not sure about IRA. Any pointers will be helpful.

Are there tax advantages to US Citizenship?
Do we have to pay double tax on the money we earn in India(i.e to both US and India govt) or is it that we pay taxes to india govt, but just report our income to US govt?

What are the advantages of being a USC after R2I? Being a USC do we have to keep filing US tax+indian tax if our income is only from India after R2I? Do we get any social secutiry benefits ?
