Taking electrical fittings (wall/ceiling lighting sets) to India

Is it worth it to take electrical fittings (wall lamp sets- e.g. chandeliers, wall sconces) from the US to India? I know the voltages are different, but maybe the standard US bulb sizes are used in India now and I just need to buy bulbs in India? Or maybe it is easy to get the sets rewired in India ...

[QUOTE=makepaisar2i;322793] IMHO, December to February would be the best period even though they attend only 3 or 4 months of school in US. You could put them in tutions in India and get them ready for the next school year, they would adjust to weather, local environment, enjoy summer vacation and ...

USC/OCI - R2I from Ohio: will I need to pay OH state tax every year?

sanjosedesi, thanks very much for your thoughtful answer. Yes, I had come across the several postings on California going after expats and hence my concern about state tax liability in Ohio after I R2I. Not that my income is that high :p, but I probably should take whatever "active steps" I can. I ...

USC/OCI - R2I from Ohio: will I need to pay OH state tax every year?

Gurus, I've searched a few times but wasn't able to find an answer to this question. I'm R2I'ing this year/early next year and currently stay in Ohio. Self and spouse are USC/OCI. I know I need to file US federal taxes from India every year, but how about Ohio state taxes? If anyone has gone through ...

Understanding job hierarchy & titles at SAP?

Could someone help me understand the job titles at SAP in India? I saw a posting for a "principal" position - is that below, or equal to a "director" position? What are the yrs of experience and CTCs associated with either position?

thanks for your help!

Offer at Hyd: Please evaluate

Johosoho or others, would you have any examples of how "admission to international schools" would be implemented in a relo package? i.e. is it around a lump sum to pay an initial admission fee, or is it around using contacts/doing the legwork to ensure admission happens even when one is late in the ...
