Hi R2iMysore,

You can open an account with TDAmeriTrade with an Indian address. They will ask for ID proof with Indian address and Aadhar is accepted. You can buy Vanguard ETFs through them.

Hi all,

Just posting my findings here for benefit of others:

1) Vanguard does not allow this
2) Not recommended as Vanguard may arbitrarily close the account.
3) Vanguard ETFs are available via TD Ameritrade. They do allow for an Indian address and will ask for address proof.
