Nattusbs,
Good luck on your move to Hyd. The fellowship and the lab you are joining sound really good.

To Stay Back or Move Ahead
OP,
In my opinion, working in a desirable job is more relevant than location. Your husband already has a good offer and you are also hopeful of getting a good job, so moving to India should be a good move career-wise. Living in home country can be considered an added bonus!

R2I Job Hunting from the US
[FONT=Courier New]One approach is to plan a short trip to India about two months in the future and mention that to your contacts/recruiters. This may help you move from phone interview to face-to-face interview stage. If you have zero interviews scheduled as the date of the trip approaches, you can ...

From what I have heard and seen, job hopping seems more prevalent in India than in US. Another suggestion I ...

anudeep, I would also suggest that your husband apply for jobs in Bangalore & Hyderabad. You mentioned your husband has been with the same firm for 11 years. While there is no harm in staying with the same firm for that long, but if the firm is not treating your husband well, it is time to quickly ...

Hyderabad or Vizag - Please help me decide
My parents and brother live in Hyderabad. They don't seem to be facing any problems related to Telangana situation. I don't think decision to go to either Vizag or Hyderabad should be based entirely on Telangana situation. You mentioned your husband received an offer in Vizag. Can he get similar or ...

Waiting and leaving after GC is not really useful, since GC will become void once you leave US. (There are ways to maintain GC for couple of years through re-entry permit, I don't know much about it). If you really need the security of being able to return to US anytime, then getting the US ...
