Short term accomodation in Hyderabad

Post by dhindia »

Guys
I will be living in Hyderabad for around 4 months. This is related to my job. My company has asked me to give an estimate of expenses.

Can someone please provide info on

1. Are there furnished apartments available ? How costly are they ?

Basically i am looking for an apartment with all amenities so that i dont have to worry about cooking etc. My family will be with me, so we dont want to go thru hassles of setting up kitchen etc.

Any agents, people looking to rent their apartment - please let me know

If you are living for just 4 months, you are better off living in a 3 star hotel like Greenpark in Begumpet.

You can go for a more spacious guest houses, but for such short term, they will quote anywhere from 30000 to 75000 per month. A 3 star hotel, if you work out a long term deal will work out twice that amount.

There are also many guest houses operated by small time people for much less. I wouldn't suggest them to people with families.

You can find many agents operating in Sulekha.com

Your best bet will be a 2-3 star hotel with a long term deal struck from the corporate side. Don't tell them you are paying in Dollars/US credit card which will jack up the price. Negotiate through an Indian company contact.
