Happy New year !!
Just became a member and starting to realize the value of R2I forum.
2011 seem to be the year for us to return to India after 13 years of life in the US. Became US citizen, two children - eight and six years old.
Thinking of moving to Bangalore as IT Technical Architect/Consultant.
Looking forward to hear from members who are moving/already moved especially from Houston to Bangalore.
Thanks

Good to hear from you. Are you working in the IT industry ? As you mentioned about mioving this summer, are you trying to secure a job before leaving the US ?
I am curious about sources for job opportunities. Do you have children and looking at schools for them by now ?
After hearing about traffic conditions in Bangalore, I think it is important to live close to work to reduce the distance of commute from work and school (for children).
I would like to have a job offer before I leave and hoping to R2I this June. I am looking at monster.com and naukari.com, found several third party ccompanies posting for jobs for MNCs. What are the pros and cons of going through a headhunter ?

Are you in IT industry ?
It will be better for me to read your posts before I ask you more questions.
Thanks for replying.

I am in IT field, but not planning to work anymore after I return. I am starting something my own.
It will be a very good idea to live near the office due to the traffic conditions. In my opinion, it is better to go through job hunters because they have much better negotiation power than most of us!
The IT market seem to be very good in India and so finding a job shouldn't be very difficult.
