Anyone tired of living around people in general?

This probably has a very high undertone of negativity, probably because of personal experiences I'm going through, but in general, is anyone tired of conforming to the American society: The microwave "now" mentality, extreme consumerism, impatience, etc.
It seems to me that the only perfect place might be one where everyone else is invisible and nobody has wants from you and you don't have anything to offer to anybody else.

I wonder if there is a place on the planet for someone sick of people, where someone can live at for a while?

Sometimes, that could be the worst place of all to live at.

How about some place serene....foothills of a mountain range (Himalayas etc) where it is sparsely populated. I am sure there are such places in India and other countries.

Yes if you are living in someone else's home ...or... if you are trying to get away from a family member with whom you share home.
Other than that......only reason to not be able to find peace in one's own home is.......if one is ready for a Sanyas.

Anyway, if you feel your home is not fit to give you peace, moving out ( by yourself )..... to a place with totally different ecological landscape and a place where no one else really knows you..... may be in order.
I call it Sanyas.

There are people doing it all over and I intend to (with a twist) down the line as well. No neighbors, no forced trading- a completely self sufficient dwelling and lifestyle. The only things you will need to interact with other people for are food and sex. If you can do without the latter, and have a temperament suited for cooking your own food, you would have hit the holy grail.

I think that life gets more and more complicated with age. Its the simplest when a human is born and its the simplest when a human passes away. The part between those 2 points can get really messed up!
We start with nothing, then other humans tag on things to us, clothes, biased thoughts of society, expectations, etc. Then you get married and life gets twice as more complex. Now, not only do you have to conform to society, but you also have to conform to other people under a microscope. You land up even having to eat what you don't want to and are also expected to lie about the food. You get judged and misunderstood and have to maintain a shell, knowing who you really are and trying to separate that from what people think of you. I don't think there are another other species on the planet that suffer such a fate!
