Member ashdoc's movie reviews have been consolidated and made into a master thread for easy reference by members.
ashdoc - thanks for your reviews!
We have made the diaries of members "znan" and "lively" sticky, based on popular viewing.

I believe some members have been labeled as cyber bullies by another member. I provided my view to the offending member in the hopes that such will labels be removed or edited out by the member but it wasn't done so. Bringing to your attention the labeling up members with an unflattering term.
You might wonder why I did not open a TMT complaint and bringing this up to admin attention. Very recently after a disagreement with me in a thread a member went and posted that some do not grow out of children role in a different thread. The connection was not lost on me and not on some other readers also. I chose to put the member in my mental ignore category, however one of the members who is now a newly assigned TMT member went and thanked what was clearly an attack on me and it is not that that thanking member did not get what was going on. So admins, I am just bringing this (re cyber bullying label) to your attention - discard it or take action or do what you may with it. I understand that criticism of admins or TMT is not allowed.
There is only one complaint in here and that the term cyber bully for members should not be acceptable unless the offending member has been so deemed by admin and banned (and/or given serious infractons) for that reason.

TAT/TMT, I am OK with the edit of my post. Infact, my post was in 'Mess with me...' thread initially which resonated with thread's title/context(posts got moved because admin moved them). Taking a 11 year old child's post into totally different context but with my original quoted intact to display their superiority of English is a sort of cyber bullying in my opinion but I am okay if my post gets edited to not extend this debate and create additional work for admin team.
I have requested members to edit their posts in the past but they did not agree, so I didn't take that route with Okonomi.
Cheers!
RBee :)

If I think that in my view a particular member is stupid, am I allowed to voice that view on the forum?
If not, why do you have to repeat that you think Okonomi was Cyber bullying after asking it to be edited?
Even if it is edited from your banter post and above post in AMC, the damage has been done to the reputation of a member/members.

RRK;544720Dear Members,
Let us use this thread for communications between The Admin Team and the members.( Member to Member discussion is not allowed. Use Banter thread or other related thread for that. )
Thank you Admins, for the reminder. :)

Adminji, you threw me out of that thread while I was typing in a reply..After taking 10 mts to type it in..clicked on post and it said sorry..thread is closed.. definitely a great way to waste all my time here..
Below is what sort of what I had typed in..(note to self..I should increase my typing speed)
I’ve edited my post, eventhough I’ve not understood which CoC is being violated. I’m not a new member but an infrequent member and it’s difficult to understand all these jargons ..TMT..CTR..TAT. Why not use less of these abbreviations so that people can understand what’s being referred to? I don’t think one should be spending hours reading forum usage guidelines to understand how to post on a forum. Posting here is becoming even more difficult than learning Robotics..
And I think I’ve mentioned this earlier too..if someone is part of Admin please always use the Moderator handle..I did not know gotzkiz is part of Admin, it was a banter thread..I thought this member was pulling my leg..and if an Admin is taking an effort to report a post, why not tell the poster which CoC is violated..why so much ambiguity..
And I would’ve missed the thread that reported my post completely if this been not one of my ‘r2iclub forum days’..please consolidate all admin communications to one thread..this is like running around to collect infractions..:))

Sorry for the unintended side effect.

To maintain forum decorum, all members are expected to be fully familiar with CoC. This is nothing specific to R2IClub, though it is enforced more strictly here. CoC prohibits personal attack - on individual forum member or group of members. Calling forum members as kids would fall into this. Stating in humour sometimes may be accepted by members in the flow of conversation, but only until it gets reported. When it gets reported, CoC that is spelt out will be used as the bible.

Fair point. I was only posting as a member. You had mentioned go ahead and report, so one of the member anonymously reported it (though used a follow up post).

AMC is typically used for that though not always.

I'm not a prolific bible reader, but I did it read it once and didn't figure out where I stepped out. Anyways I'll go with the interpretation of the admin on this and I've already edited the post.
Anyways..this happens all the time I step into the belly of the forum..:emrosesad: (note to self - stay away always)

I thought the member who reported it had a problem with my attitude to you as an admin as shown in the reported post. The request was to give me a fitting reply for my 'misbehavior' and not edit the previous post. I'm reminded of school days..

Hmm..guess people will miss the action for most part.

I request the admin to expunge the usage of the word 'kids' to other forum members from " the Abrahams comprehensive bible based based list of mistakes " book, members, many of of whom are Indians living in India have been called many worse things in the past with the tacit support of many who are complaining about the kids reference .
