Starting a thread for my memoirs in no order of priority. Kindly forgive me for any typo errors or grammatical errors as India does make you extremely busy even just to keep your head above water!

** context**
Lived across length & breadth of UK over a span of around 13 yrs as part of desi IT service provider companies that fortunately provided opportunities to live in India for 3 years in between this duration. So realistically I enjoyed the best of both worlds at some price, give or take. Eventually when I hit 40yrs age, we relocated back to India during August 2017 with wife + 2 school going kids - to Pune, where I got a new IT job at a level below than what I was at UK, but I accepted with welcome arms & open mind.

Though I lived away from India for a maximum stretch of 7 years in one go before taking a short assignment back to India - the challenges that I see are so different and not so different both to what they were 13 yrs back.

Last 10 months went away to sort the basics, adjust to new environment, kids schools, new job + other stuff, so thought to start a diary to share the experience so far.

Top 2 upvotes so far:
1. Pune's weather is still perhaps one of the best in the country, whatever the locals say! Yes its much hotter now, but I still love Pune's weather except for 2 hottest months of the year.
2. Ability to do whatever one wants without the reservations/ constraints we otherwise have on a land where one is not borne.

Top 2 downvotes so far:
1. Traffic situation all over Indian cities/ town which is rather worsened by a complete utter disregard for any traffic rules. I don't think it will improve in our lifetime.
2. Pollution. Yes its real. Very real. I experience it daily even from inside of my flat at some days, even though I rent one of the costliest/ poshest flat in neighbourhood.
