how to transfer money from India to other countries to pay your loans

Post by SK11 »

Hi All,

I am currently in Singapore, and I am planning to R2I by November. I need some advise related to my existing loans and credit cards.

- I have some personal loans and also some credit card loans. However I am not in a position to close all of them before I leave Singapore.

What I wanted to check is if there is an option to transfer Money from India to Singapore or US. I am assuming the process would be same for any countries.
The other question I have is if there are any legal implications of leaving Singapore without closing your loans?
I need some advise very urgently as my move to India is in couple of months.

Hi SK11,

You can transfer money from India to other countries through normal banking channels. To transfer the money you need to submit a certificate to the bank which states that the money you are looking to transfer in the certificate is a tax paid amount.

Professional similar to us do provide such services.
